eoe-0605-012 update :actos (pioglitazone)

i wasn't sure yesterday.
i'm sure today.
the skin around my wrists is thicker. the bones in the back of my hands are less sharply defined. the dark cavities between my bones are shallower, less pronounced. a couple of the bracelets are ever-so-slightly tighter.
so. june 9 to june 21 (happy summer solstice): almost two weeks since i started taking actos.
instant subcutaneous fat. this is a little scary. i have no idea what's going to happen with my gut yet, but i don't want to lose my cuts either.
the metabolic wars have started.
a side note: i had my acupuncture treatment yesterday. noel put needles in my neck--right over the jugulars. stomach nine. i've never had my neck needled before. it was sort of a new frontier in trust.
i got a needle hickey on the left, which is really unusual. a needling is considered to have been extra-effective if the site bleeds a little bit after the needle is removed. most often none of them bleed. i can usually tell which ones they're going to be. a bruise, though. eeuwe.
was that more than you wanted to know?
i like my acupuncture. but like everything else in life, it's an adventure.
